About CircuitSeek — Built by Someone Who Actually Builds Things
I’m Marcus Webb.
I’ve spent the better part of 15 years working with hardware — first as an electronics engineer, then as someone who got completely obsessed with the overlap between professional-grade tools and the modern remote workspace.
CircuitSeek started because I kept watching people make expensive mistakes.
A colleague would spend $400 on a keyboard that looked great in photos but had 2-key rollover — useless for any real coding workflow. Someone else would buy a USB-C hub that “supports 4K” but throttles bandwidth the moment you plug in a second device.
The problem wasn’t that these people were careless. It’s that most tech review sites are written by generalists who benchmark a spec sheet, not by people who’ve actually debugged an AssistiveTouch conflict at 11 PM before a client demo.
That’s the gap CircuitSeek fills.
What You’ll Find Here
– Honest hardware reviews written from an engineering perspective — with real benchmark data, not just manufacturer specs – Buying guides that explain the technical tradeoffs behind the price points – Desk setup and remote work gear tested for people who use their equipment professionally, not casually – Troubleshooting insights from someone who’s broken things and fixed them
What I Don’t Do
I don’t accept sponsored placements. I don’t rank a product #1 because the commission is higher. If something has a dealbreaker flaw, I say so — even if it’s a product I otherwise like.
Reach me at info@circuitseek.com if you want to discuss hardware, suggest a review, or tell me I’m wrong about something.
